After a long travel day, nothing beats the feeling of finally settling into a comfortable hotel room. Recently, I had the opportunity to stay at the Hotel Riu Plaza Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco for two days.

As someone who values both comfort and convenience while on vacation in San Francisco, I was eager to see what this hotel had to offer.

I will share my findings in this Riu Plaza Fisherman's Wharf San Francisco review by giving you an inside look at what it's like to stay at one of my favorite hotels in Fisherman's Wharf.

When I entered the Hotel Riu Plaza Fisherman's Wharf San Francisco, I was greeted with warm smiles by the desk staff. The lobby had modern decor and a welcoming ambiance.

Hotel Rooms and Property Amenities

I chose the Deluxe Superior king bedroom because it came with all the amenities that I needed for a comfortable stay in Firherman's Wharf.

Have Plenty of Charging Sockets

The king-size bed was comfortable, hence I had a good night’s sleep. I was pleased to find plenty of charging sockets near the bed, which made it easy for me to charge my devices overnight.

The room had an air conditioner, which was a relief given the warm weather outside. However, I did find that it was a bit loud when I first turned it on. I quickly adjusted it to a lower setting, and the noise disappeared.

Has a Large Seating Area

One of the things I loved about the room was the seating area. It was the ideal place to relax after a long day of exploring San Francisco. I spent my evenings curled up on the comfortable sofa, reading a book or catching up on my favorite TV shows.

The room also had a coffee machine. I'm a coffee lover, so being able to brew a fresh cup of coffee in the morning was a real treat. The mini-fridge was also handy, and I was able to keep drinks and snacks cool throughout my stay.

There was a safe in the room, which gave me peace of mind knowing that my valuables were secure. The satellite TV provided plenty of entertainment options, and I appreciated having a work desk where I could catch up on some work.

Riu Plaza Offers Drink Free Buffet Breakfast

As someone who loves to start my day with a hearty breakfast, the news of Plaza offering a free breakfast buffet made me happy. I immediately made plans to visit the hotel's restaurant to enjoy what this hotel in Fisherman's Wharf had on offer.

As I perused the menu, I couldn't help but feel thrilled at the thought of being able to enjoy the best breakfast buffet.

The breakfast itself did not disappoint; there were options for all tastes, from fresh fruits to decadent pastries. I sipped my juice contentedly, feeling grateful for the opportunity to indulge in such a delicious meal without breaking the bank.

Pool and Fitness Center

One of the hotel's best amenities that I loved most was the hotel's heated outdoor pool. When the weather was a bit chilly outside, I was still able to take a dip in the warm and inviting sun loungers' outdoor pool.

I also loved the fitness center, with state-of-the-art equipment and plenty of space to work up a sweat. It was great to be able to exercise and then relax by the pool, all without having to leave the hotel.
