Omni Dallas Hotel Dallas Texas Review: A Quick Overview
The Omni Dallas Hotel offers more than 1,000 luxurious rooms and suites, a rooftop terrace, a heated pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a full-service spa, amazing dining options, a poolside bar, and many more top-notch restaurants nearby. The hotel’s modern suites and rooms provide panoramic city views and feature everything you would expect to find, including mini-fridges, climate-controlled air conditioning, flat-screen TV, and pet-friendly amenities.
Omni Dallas Hotel provides a high level of service and a luxury atmosphere, whereas those looking for a comfortable and friendly accommodation at a more affordable price point could check out the Hampton Inn & Suites Dallas or Hyatt Regency Dallas Texas and other similar places to stay in.
Drawing from my experience, the Omni Dallas Hotel is nearby multiple popular attractions which include Dallas World Aquarium, Dallas Museum, Dallas City Hall, Reunion Tower, and Sixth Floor Museum, to name just a few. The facility is sixteen miles from the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and five miles from the Dallas Love Field.
Location: Next to the Dallas Convention Center
Omni Dallas Hotel is located in Downtown Dallas, surrounded by news stations and corporate offices, while a skywalk connects it to the Dallas Convention Center. The Dallas Union Station, the John F. Kennedy Memorial, and Pioneer Plaza are within walking distance. Other amazing destinations nearby include the AT&T Center, the American Airlines Center, and the Museum of Art.
Additionally, lots of sporting events take place nearby, including golf, and one thing I really enjoyed as a sports lover was watching all the big matches at the Owners Box and Sports Bar. After a busy day of gatherings in meeting rooms and freshening up, my next destination was always The Owners Box to catch some Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament games. On top of that, I would enjoy a range of the Owners Box specials and end my day at the pool tables with friends.
Getting Around, Activities and Events
The easiest thing I ever did while staying at this hotel was to get around, as several air, road, and railway options were available to choose from. The Dallas-Fort Worth Intl. Airport was my favorite option, which is only a 20 minute-drive away. Convention Center and Dallas Union stations were other perfect options whenever I wanted something different from air and road transport.
Regarding activities, Omni Dallas hotel puts everything on the table, including Easter Brunch at Texas Spice, Dallas Stars Watch Party, Dining Experience at restaurants on Lamar, including the Owners Box and Café Herrera, and the Resort Pass for the Day, which includes a heated rooftop infinity pool and a deck with fantastic views of Downtown Dallas not to mention delicious food and drinks from Uptown Terrace Pool Bar and Grill.
Popular Amenities
Through my trial and error, I discovered all the popular amenities that this property offers, ranging from dining and leisure to business. The popular amenities that were very handy during my stay at Omni Dallas hotel include free Wi-Fi, outdoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, business center, stylish spa, pet friendly, room service, valet parking, valet service, free public parking, 24-hour gym, 24/7 front desk, coffee maker, free breakfast, laundry, and housekeeping.
On the other hand, guests who prefer a more home-like experience suitable for longer stays to traditional hotel rooms and suites should look at Jurny Downtown Dallas Apartments Texas and similar apartment-type accommodations that offer more space compared to standards hotel rooms.

Room Types and Amenities
Elegant rooms with a downtown view, mini-fridges, and flat-screen TVs are available at this beautiful hotel. Executive suite options with living rooms are perfect for young adults with families. Available in different types such as Premier Salon, Executive, Premier, and Deluxe, these rooms and suites are stylish with floor-to-ceiling windows, colorful artwork, brown-patterned carpeting, sensory floor lighting, and classic furniture.
These rooms feature contemporary bathrooms, with bathtubs or showers, depending on what you love. Executive suites and rooms were my favorites as they have flat-screen TVs hidden in mirrors, while coffee/tea makers, irons/ironing boards, mini-fridges, a hair dryer, and bathrobes were common features. Premier Salon Rooms and suites come with Murphy beds and living rooms, while One Bedroom Executive suites have three bathrooms and living/dining rooms.
ADA rooms feature roll-in showers with spacious doorways, while Hospitality suites come with sitting/dining areas and two bedrooms.
Those who are looking for a more individually tailored experience and a more classic and historic ambience should check out my Adolphus Autograph Collection Dallas Texas review. Nonetheless, both properties offer similar upscale accommodations and high-quality service and amenities.
Food and Drink
Omni Dallas Hotel, located in the Downtown Center, allowed me to access great dining options, including shops, restaurants, and bars/lounges. I always started my day with a massive, tasty breakfast from one of the state-of-the-art restaurants – Ellen's Southern Kitchen, which offers local and traditional favorites such as the pork tinga tacos that includes spicy pulled pork, avocado, potatoes, cheddar cheese, sour cream, homemade salsa, and scrambled eggs. This was my perfect alternative to the complimentary breakfast offered at this great hotel.
For lunch, I always visited the nearby Uptown neighborhood, a fantastic live-work-play community offering trendy restaurants and bars and some of the city's best shopping destinations. Mi-Cocina for upscale Tex-Mex and Crushcraft Thai Street Eats, traditional Thai Street foods, were my favorite lunch dishes.
I always enjoyed my evening meals back in Dallas at Uptown Terrace Pool Bar & Grill Omni Dallas, located on the hotel's fourth floor. It provides hotel guests with delicious food and drinks. Additional restaurants on Lamar offering delicious meals include Texas Spice, Pegasus Pizza, The Owners Box, Bob’s Steak and Chop House, Café Herrera, Pegasus Pizza, and Black Ship Little Katana.
Pets, Children, and Family-Friendly
Visiting Dallas with my favorite pet was one of my best experiences, and I was more than happy when I discovered that the facility was pet-friendly. I felt no pain paying the extra charge for my pet's accommodation since it always accompanied me. Service animals are also welcomed, and the best part is that they’re exempt from fees. Regarding children, the Dallas hotel offers complimentary rollaway/extra beds at no extra fee.

Full-Service Spa and Outdoors
Property amenities at this hotel not only end at room and dining options; several treatments are available. Of all treatments available, my personal favorite was Mokara Spa & Salon, located on the fourth floor of the Hotel. Mokara Spa & Salon provides a full-service experience.
It is conveniently established in Downtown Dallas and offers a perfect destination for express massage services. Most guest reviews agree with me that Mokara Spa & Salon offers state-of-the-art soothing body treatment, facial, massage, pedicure, and manicure services as visitors rejuvenate in this advanced, quiet oasis.
Cleaning and Safety Measures

Apart from cleaning the whole facility using disinfectants and washing towels and sheets at 60oC, it ensures contactless check-in and check-out, protective shields are in place, and staff members have personal protective equipment. Masks and enhanced food safety measures and practices are also adhered to.
