Hilton Fort Worth Texas Review

Hilton Fort Worth is a luxurious hotel that has a rich history, dating back to 1921 when it first opened its doors to the public. The hotel is famous for hosting several famous personalities, including one of my all-time favorites, President John F. Kennedy, who stayed at the hotel before his fateful visit to Dallas in 1963. The hotel has undergone several renovations over the years, but it has managed to retain its charm and elegance.

Location

The Hilton Fort Worth is situated in the center of Fort Worth, making it an excellent base for a person like me who loves to explore the city's attractions. I could easily walk to many of the city's top spots, including the Convention Center, Sundance Square, and the Museum (Sid Richardson). Additionally, the hotel is just a short drive from the Fort Worth Zoo and the Fort Worth Central Station.

Parking - Valet Option Only

Upon arriving at the property, I was greeted by friendly parking attendants who will take care of their vehicles throughout their stay. The hotel provides only valet parking services, and I was kindly requested to be prepared to pay the daily valet parking fee. Unfortunately, self-parking is not an option at this hotel. The parking service ensures that I can easily come and go as I please without the hassle of finding parking on the street.

The hotel takes the security of its guests very seriously, and the parking service is just one of the ways that the hotel provides added peace of mind for its guests. Additionally, the parking attendants are always available to offer assistance with luggage and any other needs guests may have upon their arrival and departure.

Rooms - Comfortable and Spacious

Hilton Fort Worth offers a range of rooms and suites to cater to different needs. Rooms come with standard amenities such as free WiFi, wired internet, free cribs, room service, and individual climate control. My view was of the deserted hotel across the street, the train station, and the closed Billy Miner's restaurant.

While travelers may not be able to sleep in the same room as the Kennedys on the eve of that fateful morning in American history, they can still stay at JFK Presidential Suite 1530 featuring 2,200 square feet dedicated to JFK's legacy. On the other hand, if you want a more contemporary and youthful atmosphere, with a focus on vibrant decor and social spaces, I recommend staying at Aloft Fort Worth hotel.

Deluxe rooms come with a sofa bed, and double rooms are also available. The average nightly price for a standard room is in the mid-range, but, in general, luxury hotels like this often come with a higher price tag compared to mid-range hotels like Hampton Inn & Suites Fort Worth Downtown or TownePlace Suites. The property has connecting/adjoining rooms, which are subject to availability and can be requested by contacting the property using the number on the booking confirmation.

Breakfast - Not Complimentary

Hilton Fort Worth Downtown does not offer free breakfast, but I could purchase breakfast at the hotel's Ruth Chris Steakhouse.

Business Center - Perfect for Business Travelers

The Hotel Hilton Downtown Fort has a center for businesses that offers fax, printing, and photocopying services. Additionally, the hotel has conference space and a banquet room available for business events which gives it a slight edge over nearby business hotels like the Omni Fort Worth and others.

Safety Measures - Well-Implemented

The property has implemented various safety features to ensure my safety, such as my accommodations that are disinfected between stays and individually wrapped food options.
