Hampton Inn Suites Dallas Downtown Texas Review: A Quick Overview

With 176 rooms and housed in a momentous office tower, Hampton Inn Suites Dallas Downtown offers modern accommodation rooms and suites with sleek décor and clean lines. For sure, I had stayed in a historic luxury hotels located in downtown Dallas like the Adolphus Autograph Collection Dallas Texas, but I hadn’t been in an accommodation facility this new and luxurious.

With its great location in the heart of downtown Dallas, the property is less than one mile from the Dallas Convention Center and opposite the Neiman Marcus store. The American Airlines Center, the Dallas Museum, the Dallas World Aquarium, and the Cotton Bowl Stadium are within approximately three miles of the hotel.

Hampton Inn Downtown Dallas Hotel is near soothing Dallas attractions, trendy restaurants, and shopping destinations. The hotel is within convenient walking distance to Majestic Theatre, Deep Ellum, Thanks-Giving Square, and Dealey Plaza. The prime location makes it easy for guests to access US 75, I-35E, I-30, and the airport, which is only a 20-minute drive away.

Property Highlights

My analysis of this hotel revealed that its properties meet and even exceed guest expectations. When booking my first room at Dallas Downtown Hampton Inn Hotel, I hadn't done much research about the facility. But on arrival, I was surprised to find state-of-the-art accommodation services and products, including free breakfast, complimentary indoor pool access, a fully-equipped fitness center, free WiFi, and free parking.

Since pets are my favorite friends, I was happy to learn the property welcomes guests with their four-legged friends. The rooms and suites accommodate guests with their younger families as they feature everything they need to call the hotel a home away from home, including separate living/dining areas and private bathrooms and is similarly suitable for longer stays as the Jurny Downtown Dallas Apartments.

Main Amenities and For Families

Hampton Inn Suites Dallas Downtown features an endless list of main amenities which are designed to make your stay the best ever. Based on my experience, all these amenities were very important during my stay at the facility as they helped me to meet my business and leisure goals.

These amenities include a 24-hour business center, free WiFi, a 24-hour front desk, a 24-hour fitness center, complimentary breakfast, valet parking, an indoor pool, a front desk safe, a reception fireplace, and an onsite coffee shop.

Regarding younger adults with families, the facility offers adjoining/connecting rooms, a private site-accessible bathroom, daily housekeeping, non-smoking rooms, meeting rooms, complimentary infant/cots beds, a microwave, and flat-screen TV with premium channels.

Rooms and Suites

All hotel reviews agree with me that Hampton Inn Suites Dallas Downtown Texas Hotel features rooms that meet the needs and requirements of all visitors ranging from younger families to disabled guests. Three main types of rooms are available, which include Entrance Wheelchair Accessible, Suites, and Guest Rooms.

Each of these room categories includes several options – Guest Rooms include Two Queen W/Fridge/Microwave Non-Smoking, One King W/Fridge/Microwave Non-Smoking, Two Queen Premium Non-Smoking, and One King Studio Suite Non-Smoking.

When I was booking my suite, several options were available to pick from; and One King Junior Studio Suite Non-Smoking was my favorite since it perfectly met my unique needs and requirements. Two Quins W/Wet Bar Studio Suite Non-Smoking, Two Quins Premium Studio W/Microwave/Wet Bar/Fridge NS, and 1K Premium Studio W/Wet Bar/Fridge/Microwave were additional options presented to me for selection.

The hotel room

The accessible category includes options like One King Hearing/Mobility Access W/Tub NS, One King Hearing/Mobility ACC RI Shower NS, and One King Hearing/Mobility Access RI SHWR Studio NS.

When you press the Room Details button, you'll access each room's features, including a fully equipped bathroom with a roll-in shower, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, high-speed internet, phone, LCD TV, and duvet covers, among others.

Food and Drink

My favorite morning meal was the free full breakfast served between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Sometimes, I had to try something different from the decent breakfast options available nearby, and I didn't regret my decisions. The morning meals were delicious and included different options to choose from, including local and modern prepared food and beverages.

On the other hand, the variety and upscale nature of dining experiences in hotels such as Hyatt Regency Dallas Texas might be broader than what Hampton Inn & Suites provides, but the hotel’s good location allowed me to have a short walk to some award-winning restaurants such as Flying Horse Café, Press Box Grill, The Craft Irishman, Pegasus City Brewery, and the Waterproof, which are all between a two- and four-minute walk.

What is Nearby and Getting Around

Hampton Inn Suites Dallas Downtown Texas Hotel is near some great leisure, shopping, business, and transport facilities. I have found from staying at this hotel that the city center is just a few minutes walk from the facility, together with other destinations like American Airlines Center, Reunion Tower, Dallas Aquarium, Dallas Arts District, and Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center.

You'll need a drive of between one and eight minutes to access Dallas Market Center, Fair Park, Dallas Zoo, Cotton Bowl, Dallas Art Museum, and Perot Museum of Nature and Science. In terms of getting around, the neighborhood provided me with numerous air and railways options, which link to a great road network.

Whenever I wanted a train option, Dallas Union Station was my favorite, but Akard Station, Saint Paul and Federal Tram Stop, West Irving Station, and Dallas Medical-Market Center Station were ideal options too.

Recreation Facilities and Other Services

As a younger adult, the indoor pool, spa, and gym were my best recreational facilities. If sports are your cup of tea, tennis and golf courts are less than a mile away. Other crucial services during my stay at Dallas Hampton Inn Suites hotel are a 24-hour front desk, dry cleaning/laundry services, luggage storage, a multilingual management team, free newspapers in reception, and an entrance stair-free path.

Cleaning and Safety Measures

Hampton Inn Downtown Dallas hotel follows the CleanStay Hilton best cleaning and disinfection practices and has excellent guest safety measures in place. The property advises all sheets and towels to be cleaned at a minimum of 600C and all high-touch surfaces thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. On top of that, the whole facility is cleaned using a disinfectant. To ensure my stay was safe, there was contactless check-in as well as contactless check-out, and I was provided with hand sanitizer.

Required at Check-in and Special Check-in Instructions

A minimum check-in age of 21 years is required at express check-in, alongside a credit card, a debit card, or a cash deposit for incidental fees. The property accepts Visa, and the front desk staff greets guests on arrival. The facility is pet-friendly; only two dogs or cats per booking, and room service animals allowed as well, but a pet fee is included in the booking confirmation information, which is not that uncommon as I've already shown in my Omni Dallas Hotel review.

Hilton Honors Member Benefits

One massive feature that I really enjoyed during the second, third, and fourth stays at Hampton Inn was the Hilton Honor VIP program. As a Hilton Honors member, I enjoyed many special offers, including Hilton Honors Points, Honors Discount Advance Purchase, AARP Members Save, and CAA/AAA Members Save.

Additional benefits are Military Family Rates, Park and Stay, Digital Check-in, Digital Key, Free Cancellation, and Hilton Honors Experiences. You can also enjoy such a great experience if you stay at Hampton Inn Suites Dallas Downtown Texas hotel more than once.
